Xmas Sweater time!

Christmas time is quickly coming up on us and we are all very excited to get some christmas pics done. Myself, lauren and blaine all got together and found the tackiest christmas sweaters we could find and then we started. we all felt really dumb posing the way we did but i think it payed off cause we got some really funny pictures. I was especially impressed that blaine really carried himself nice in his Salmon sweater and lauren also came out of nowhere with that sick sweater. All in all we all had some really nice get ups. we started out with blaine sitting me and lauren down and reading us a christmas story. it was good!

Sunset Scramble

So i was driving home from the ski hill on friday when i realized that there was a super crazy skyline. in a panic i ran home to get my gear. but there was a problem. where do i go to try and get the best shots for the crazy skies. since it never lasts long i had to go somewhere close so the airport came up. and well it worked out pretty good i figure.

The Gaelin Brown Promo

Gaelin Brown called me up saying that he is getting ready to get his newly recorded cd back from being pressed and asked if i would take some pictures for his promotions of the new disc. so that's how it all went down. we got together in his sisters basement which was a really sweet 50-60's decore. but the down fall... we only had 20 minutes so we did what we could with the time we had. she also brought down some really wacky clothes for him to put on....

Snowy Night

So i'm back from work now and it seems like i brought the snow down with me. it snowed a lot today. more snow in this one day than we got all year last winter. this made for some real bad driving conditions and a strong urge to go rip some fresh lines on the hills. but there is not enough snow yet. so i decided to go out with camera in hand and see how cold i could get while taking some pictures. i was very cold by the end of tonight and was pleased with the photos i have taken.

Skate Day

It was on sunday when i was driving around ....bored and found a big skate session going on at delaney. i popped in to talk to Mike Thompson Kyle Sprock and alex and shortly after stopping there i went home to get my camera. when i got there they had a pretty cool rail set up over the pyramid. so i took some shot of the guys riding it. some good shots came from that then they went ahead and werebustin big things over the hips of the pyramid.

Lazy Night

Hey ok so today was a lazy day for me. went for a hike to kamview but no pictures came out of that. after dinner i picked up Lauren, Heather, Hillary and Andrew and drove them to the bow wow meow ball fundraiser. They all looked very sharp. Once i had dropped them off i went home to chase my cat around trying to get some pictures of her. The cat didn't really want to come out from under the bed or sit stiil enough to get close... but i got her just long enough to take a few funny pics of her.

Solo hiking

ok so all my friends have left me either yesterday being drew and today being scotty. So i was actually feeling energetic enough to go for a little exersize. and well i got just that. i thought it wasn't gonna be that bad lugging around a 45 pound camera bag with a tri pod in hand.... but that's where i went wrong. it was super heavy. but on the brightside boy did i get a kioller work out. Much needed. I thought that high falls and fingerpoint hiking trails would be nice. well i had taken a few pics so here they are.

Just after i thought i was gonna die... but i didn't. no animal attacks or lazy attacks. not too bad. End of the day at the top of finger point... lots to see up there.

So it's the night before halloween and blaine got the idea to take some photos in a haunted yard out by his house. so thery got all suited up and went in. the guy that lives there was scaring the crap out of everybody there. there were almost 500 scary figures. it was intense. he had spooky music, moving dummies, monsters on the roof eating a man, dinosaurs, talking figures, snowboarders, and smoke machines. so we asked if we could take some photos and he was very cool about the idea. so here are a few.
