Iqaluit

I am in Iqaluit. from what i have seen so far everything here is really nice and the people are very friendly. i have been working with a few of the ground handling guys and maintenance guys as well.. all are very welcoming. Iqaluit airport is very busy from what i've seen and there is a very large amount of different aircraft coming through all the time. i have been walking around the town and trying to take it all in. it's a quiet town that has no trees and the wind blows right through you if you are not properly dressed. but once that problem is fixed it is rather enjoyable. I will be updating this page frequently so check back for more pictures and stories of my days.

Hi Andrew:
Did you lose a bet to be sent to Baffin Island?
Thanks for letting me know about your new pictures. I see a third plane in the air by the tails of the two planes on the ground. looks like lots of traffic there. I hear that the legislative assembly building there has the worlds greatest inuit art collection. will you get a chance to visit? The land looks forbidding. not a tree in site, bizarre! very functional buildings, not much time or money spent on astetics.
Do I understand that you are working out on the tarmack? Way too much fresh air for me!
Take care, and take photos.
